How can the Archdiocesan Historical Commission help you and your parish?
In order to encourage the preservation of the Catholic heritage of the Pacific Northwest, the AHC trains and supports parish volunteers. Educational outreach efforts in western Oregon include:
• 2001 -- published/disseminated
booklet Organizing Your Parish Heritage Resources.
• 2001-04 -- presented 7
workshops to educate/instruct volunteers working with historic materials.
• 2004-05 -- presented 3
workshops on writing parish history.
