What do the letters preceding the catalog number mean?

You should pay attention to the type of resource for which  you are looking.  In the Subject Listing, each resource has a title, a catalog number, and an audience level.  Most resources in the Media Library are videos, but we have a large variety of other materials as well. The letter preceding the catalog number indicates which type of media it is. For a complete listing of media types, please refer to the Information Pages  or the Media Types page.

I can't use the electronic order form or some of my pages look terrible.
