DAMAGES

DAMAGE TO 16mm FILMS

If a film becomes damaged do not attempt to repair it. Return all pieces of the film and enclose a description of the damage and the cause. Simple breaks are not cause for concern, but for damage beyond normal wear and tear you may be assessed a fee to cover the cost of repair or replacement of the media item. Clean threading paths and never leave a 16mm projector running unattended. Adjust immediately if it starts to chatter noisily.

DAMAGE TO VIDEO TAPES

If a video cassette becomes damaged, do not take the cassette housing apart. Return the tape with a clear description of the damage and the cause. Simple damage is not cause for concern, but for damage beyond normal wear and tear, you may be assessed a fee to cover the cost of repair or replacement of the media item.
