Mother Mary was Charismatic!

Mary

From the moment of her Immaculate Conception, Mary was full of grace, with the Holy Trinity dwelling within her. We do not know when she became aware of the three Divine Persons in the One God, but she was always sensitive to how the Spirit of God was leading her in her daily life. At the Annunciation she was informed that the Holy Spirit would overshadow her and that she would become the mother of Jesus. Her motherhood was charismatic — initiated by the Holy Spirit. She said YES to becoming a mother through the Holy Spirit. She is rightly called the spouse of the Holy Spirit.

Mary continued to say "Yes" to the Spirit as she treasured in her heart all that her Divine Son revealed to His followers. The sinless Virgin Mary continued relying on the power of the Holy Spirit in good times and bad. We know she was very much involved in helping the apostles and disciples to yearn for the Holy Spirit during that novena (Acts 1:12–14) between the Ascension and the first Pentecost. Mary is an example for our availability to the Person of the Holy Spirit.
