With Catholic social teaching as its foundation, the Office of Life, Justice and Peace promotes the social ministry of the Catholic Church throughout the archdiocese by providing inspiration, advocacy, education, and prayer opportunities for parish staff and volunteer social ministry leaders.
The Office of Life, Justice and Peace's focus is on four
core issues:
Beginning of Life (Abortion, Adoption Services,
Pregnancy Support),
Climate Change,
Hunger
and
Immigration Reform.
The Office of Life, Justice and Peace will also emphasize
four additional issues:
Family,
Environmental Justice,
Mental
Illness and
Human Trafficking.
