##{{red:Justice and Peace Commission}} The Justice and Peace Commission--a diverse body representative of the Archdiocese--is the advisory body to the Office of Justice and Peace/Respect Life. Members of the Commission are volunteers who represent various interests of Archdiocese parishioners: youth, young adult, middle age, elderly, deacons, clergy, diversity, geography, issues (sanctity of life, sustainability, solidarity, immigration, poor, etc), Catholic Relief Services. The mission of the Justice and Peace Commission is the same as the Office's: to live the gospel. Each member was chosen to assure a diversity of thought and experience in our discussions. We are constantly reminded that "including divergent opinions makes groups better at solving problems. The Commission assists the Office in establishing yearly goals (a Justice and Peace/Respect Life plan), priorities and direction, and offers advice on projects and programs.
