![]() |
What do the letters preceding the catalog number mean? You should pay attention to the type of resource for which you are looking. In the Subject Listing, each resource has a title, a catalog number, and an audience level. Most resources in the Media Library are videos, but we have a large variety of other materials as well. The letter preceding the catalog number indicates which type of media it is. For a complete listing of media types, please refer to the Information Pages or the Media Types page. I can't use the electronic order form or some of my pages look terrible. For optimal benefit of this catalog, you will need a javascript enabled, frames activated browser, have access to email, and have email configured to your browser. This catalog works best in Netscape Navigator 3.0 or better or Microsoft Explorer 3.0 or better. It takes a long time to open some pages. Because of the sheer size of the catalog, it will take longer to load some pages. Unfortunately this is unavoidable. In order to make this catalog functional, a lot of data is stored on the search pages, especially the video and complete catalog search pages and some special collections pages. Please have patience, especially when running this catalog from the CD. Additionally, if you running this catalog through Netscape, you might try using Internet Explorer. Do I have to use frames or javascript to use this catalog? No. If you don't have one or any of these things, the catalog will still work. However, this catalog was designed utilizing javascript and works best if it is enabled. In fact, javascript must be enabled in order to fully utilize all of the features included in this catalog. Every time I try to send my email registration or order form, I get an error message. In order to use the email forms feature of this catalog, you must have email capability and your browser must have at least the default mail service enabled. If it is not enabled, or you do not have email capability, these forms will not work. Check with your systems administrator to setup email.
