Retreat Reunion
On
Sunday, August 7, all who participated in the Growth in the
Spirit retreat are invited to an evening of reflection,
7:30-9:00 p.m. This will provide an opportunity to
reconnect with the experience and assess your progress
towards the personal and spiritual maturity competencies.
Look for your invitation!
Eucharistic Liturgy and Luncheon
Archbishop Vlazny will preside at liturgy on Monday, August
8 at 11:30 a.m. and join students and faculty for lunch
immediately afterward.
Daily Liturgy of the Hours
Mindful
that: We cultivate a spirituality of study when we surround
and infuse the process of study with prayer,
(Draft of USCCB Document on
Lay Ecclesial Ministry),
we will celebrate Morning and Evening Prayer in the chapel
each day. Whether you plan to reside at the Griffin Center
or to commute, please plan to participate.
Portfolio Session
As we
continue to develop our certificate program to ensure that
it meets the National Standards, students can take more
responsibility for self-assessment by maintaining a
portfolio documenting their progress. On Tuesday, August 9,
during our Wine and Cheese evening, Cathy Shannon will
explain the process.
