General Information—Mission 2004

Archbishop Vlazny invites all Catholics from throughout Western Oregon to celebrate Mission 2004, Sunday, June 6, 2004, at the Chiles Center on the campus of the University of Portland. Mission 2004 offers every person and parish in the Archdiocese an opportunity to come together to celebrate Eucharist on the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity. In addition, we extend a special welcome to everyone who participated in any way with our evangelization experience, Disciples in Mission—small groups, youth, reflection days, or leadership. Finally, Archbishop will present the pastoral priorities for the Archdiocese of Portland. Mission 2004 will be a wonderful celebration of our ongoing evangelization mission and our faith as the Catholic Community in Western Oregon. All are welcome!

Volunteers Needed for Mission 2004
Come join in the fun of Mission 2004. To help celebrate our faith, volunteers are needed on June 6, 2004, at the Chiles Center at the University of Portland. We need volunteers in many areas, inlcuding parking, greeters, ushers, set up, clean up and information. And don't worry -- training will be provided! Volunteers who speak Spanish or Vietnamese are needed to help with hospitality.
