DAYS PLANNED FOR REFLECTION AND PRAYER

        The Archdiocesan Office of Ministry Formation will sponsor two events of prayer
and reflection for those involved in parish ministry.

        A silent day of reflection and prayer will begin Friday, November 9th at 7:00 p.m.
and end on Saturday, November 10, 2001 at 3:00 p.m. The retreat will be held at The
Griffin Center, next to LaSalle High School, in Milwaukie. Father Richard Berg, CSC,
Ph.D., will be the presenter. The day will focus on prayer and reflection in parish
ministry.

        This day is open to 15 persons, who must be fully registered before the retreat.
The cost is $50 and includes a private room with bath, breakfast and lunch on
Saturday. Mass will be celebrated, and time will be provided for the Sacrament of
Reconciliation.

        A silent day of prayer and reflection for those working in parish ministry to young
people will be held on Saturday, November 17th at St. Paul Parish in Eugene. The day
will run from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Father John Amsberry will be the presenter.
Mass will be celebrated during the day. The cost is $20 with lunch and $12 without
lunch. Registration and payment in advance is necessary.
