ASSUMPTION VILLAGE TO BE DEDICATED

Archbishop John G. Vlazny will dedicate Assumption Village, a housing project
for senior adults, on Thursday, May 16th beginning at 12:00 noon. The dedication
ceremonies will be held at Assumption Chapel (9121 N. Burr, Portland). Assumption
Chapel is adjacent to the project site. The chapel is owned and operated by the

Assumption Village is built on a 3.33 acre site where the former Assumption

the project is Ankrom Moisan Associated Architects. Walsh Construction Company is
the general contractor.

The amenities at Assumption Village include dining facilities, community
gathering rooms, activity rooms with kitchens, laundry facilities, and a Jacuzzi tub room.
Each assisted living unit will include handicapped accessible bathrooms, a small
refrigerator, microwave and closet spaces. Independent Senior apartments consist of
private one and two bedroom units with full kitchen and bathroom. All units will be wired
with voice-to-voice emergency calls systems.

Assumption Village is owned by Village Enterprises, which also owns St. Anthony
Village in southeast Portland. Assumption Village will be operated by Services for All
Generations Enterprises, Inc. (SAGE). SAGE is an Oregon nonprofit corporation, which
currently manages the day-to-day operations at St. Anthony Village. Deacon Robert
Lukosh will be the administrator for Assumption Village. Village Enterprises Board
members include: Gene DiLoreto, Del Smith, Maura O'Scannlain, Bryan Johnston, Karl
