The Institute will be held at the University of Portland's Chiles Center. It is co-
sponsored by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops Secretariat for
Evangelization, the Archdiocese of Portland, Archdiocese of Vancouver, British
Columbia, and by the University of Portland. Participants will include Bishops, priests,
religious and laity who minister across the United States, western Canada, and will
include a number of Bishops from Central and South America.

Keynote speakers at the Institute will include Cardinal Theodore McCarrick,
Archbishop of Washington, DC, Sister Angela Ann Zukowski, MHSH, Director of the

Portland, will welcome participants on Wednesday evening, and Archbishop John G.
Vlazny, Archbishop of Portland, will preside at the closing Liturgy.

The North American Institute for Catholic Evangelization sponsors will open the
gallery of the Chiles Center to the public. Individual day passes are available at the
door. There is no advanced sale. On Wednesday, July 9, passes are $10. Thursday
through Saturday, July 10 – 12, passes are $20 per day. The daily entrance fee covers
