Lenten Ember Day set for March 10

        Archbishop John G. Vlazny has announced that Wednesday, March 10 will be
the Lenten Ember Day for Catholics in the Archdiocese of Portland this year. Ember
Days are for prayer, fasting and abstaining from meat. Archbishop Vlazny re-
established Ember Days in the Archdiocese to be held in September, Advent and Lent.
to pray for healing and reconciliation with those who have been sexually abused by
priests. Archbishop Vlazny will celebrate Mass at 12:00 noon on March 10 at the Grotto
in Portland (NE Sandy at 85th).

        All are invited to join Archbishop Vlazny for Mass at the Grotto on March 10.
