Organizations and Activities Pastoral Council  Selected members of the parish meet regularly to advise the pastor and staff about parish ministries and activities. Administrative Council  Parish members chosen for their expertise in accounting and money matters regularly advise the pastor concerning the financial administration of the parish. Coffee and Donuts Each Sunday after the 9am Mass coffee and donuts are available in the Cathedral Center (in the courtyard when the weather is good).  One or two people are needed each week to pick up the pastries, to set up, and to take down. Receptions  Many events take place in our Cathedral. Archdiocesan Rite of Election, Chrism Mass, funerals, concerts. It is fitting that a welcoming parish concerned about service provide receptions after these events. Volunteers are always needed. Metropolitan Catholic Fellowship  This young adult group (age 18 to 40)  sponsors various activities of a recreational or service nature, and a yearly retreat. For more information, please go to www.mcfpdx.org. Adult Basketball  Plays Thursday evenings in the school gymnasium. Adult Volleyball  Plays Tuesday evenings in the school gymnasium. Seniors  Gather on a Wednesday of the month at 11:30a.m. for a Mass in the Cathedral, followed by a lunch in the Cathedral Center. Other trips and activities are sometimes planned. Scouts  The scout program presently includes brownie, cub scout, and girl scout chapters.
