No religious education program is required to teach "Educating for Chastity."
If a parish religious education program
elects to include "Educating for Chastity" in
the curriculum, then the Archdiocesan
Policy promulgated on March 7, 1997 must
be followed and selection of program
must be made only from among the following
five approved for use under this Policy.
1. Fully Alive (1995/96) K-8, published by Silver Burdett Ginn
2. Project Genesis (1996) K-8, published by Leaflet Missal
3. Facts Program - Conducted by Northwest Family Services 503-215-6377
4. New Corinthians – (1996) K-8, published by Foundation for the Family
5. God's Own Making – (2000) 4-8, published by Wm. H. Sadlier Inc.
6. Growing in Love - ( 2001) K-8, published by Harcourt Religion
*The Brown-Roa New Creation series is
not approved for use in "Educating for
Chastity" programs and therefore may
not be used in religious education programs.
