- Copy of Oregon Teaching License or if not Oregon licensed, copy of
out-of-state license;
- Current Resume.
A separate Background Check Request form will be sent to you upon submission
of your application. It typically takes 5 - 10 days to process.
Substitute teachers must complete Called
to Protect training. See the Child Protection Office website at

for schedule of training sessions. A copy of the applicant’s participation
certificate should be sent or faxed to Dina Boyle at 503-236-3683.

Applicants who hold valid current Oregon Teaching Licenses or who are in the
process of receiving such licenses are eligible for teaching positions in the
Archdiocese of Portland. Applicants who have an out-of-state teaching
license may submit an application, however, they must be in contact with Teacher
Standards and Practices Commission about the requirements for an Oregon License.

St. Andrew Nativity School is a tuition free
Catholic, Jesuit middle school serving low income middle school youth.
Nativity School seeks a Vice President for Development to lead its
comprehensive program of annual giving, major gifts, special events,
planned giving and public relations. Emphasis is on solicitation of
current and potential major donors with President and Board of Trustees.
A new campaign is in the planning stage.
This is an exciting opportunity to help at-risk
youth receive an excellent education that prepares them to become
leaders. The ideal candidate will have:

5+ years progressively successful
Development experience;
·
Previous management and supervisory
experience;
·
Ability to independently solicit major
gifts of $5,000+;
·
Excellent writing, public speaking and
interpersonal communication skills;
·
Ability to work with and meet deadlines;
·
A solid presence; ability to interact
effectively with diverse personalities;
·
Bachelor’s degree.
