President – Valley Catholic School, Beaverton, Oregon (Posted 3/2/2010)

Valley Catholic School is seeking a President/CEO to oversee all management, fiscal, programmatic, and planning activities in the school and supervise and support school administrators, faculty and staff. The school offers ambitious, award-winning academics, championship athletics, and arts immersion in small, co-ed classrooms and a friendly, inclusive, yet highly diverse community serving students from infancy through grade 12. We recently remodeled our high school athletic facilities and are about to break ground on a state-of-the-art K-8 building on the 43-acre campus we share with the Sisters of St. Mary of Oregon and their other sponsored ministries.

Position Requirements:

- Masters or PhD, preferably in education administration

- At least 10 years of successful education leadership experience, preferably in a Catholic school system. Prior classroom teaching experience is strongly preferred.

- Able to communicate effectively and work successfully with the varied constituents who are partners in the mission.

- Proven skills in financial management, planning, project management, program development, and policy development/implementation.

- A valid Oregon Administrator’s license or the equivalent from another state. A valid Oregon Superintendent’s license is preferred.
